The Shareholder Process
For patient, curious investors who want to build something great.
This is the final step, straightforward in practice, significant in meaning. Once funds are received and shares are allocated, you become a formal part of the Broadleaf community. Here is what that process looks like, and what to expect when it is complete.
How it works
- Funds are Transferred Once your application is confirmed, you will receive transfer instructions tailored to your chosen funding method. The timing of this step varies, bank transfers typically clear within one to three business days, while other arrangements may take longer. We will keep you informed throughout.
- Shares are Allocated Upon receipt of funds, your Broadleaf shares are formally allocated. You will receive written confirmation of your shareholding, including the number of shares issued and the price at which they were allocated.
- Your Welcome Pack Arrives Your welcome pack contains everything you need to get started: confirmation of your shareholding, an introduction to the Broadleaf community, and step-by-step instructions for setting up your login to the investor portal.
- You're In You are now a Broadleaf shareholder. From this point, your capital is at work, invested alongside the community you have chosen to join, compounding quietly over the years ahead.
Funding methods
Broadleaf accommodates a range of funding arrangements.
Direct Bank Transfer
The most straightforward method. Transfer funds directly to Broadleaf's nominated account using the details provided in your confirmation. Cleared funds are typically received within one to three business days.
SMSF or Trust Structures
Investing via a self-managed super fund or family trust is straightforward, Broadleaf is experienced in accommodating these structures. Additional documentation may be required. Your onboarding contact will guide you through any additional steps.
Dividend Reinvestment
Existing shareholders may elect to reinvest dividends as additional share purchases rather than receiving cash distributions. This is a simple way to increase your holding over time without transacting separately.
Insider/Partner Business Shareholders
For advisers and principals investing through their partner business relationship, funding may be arranged in coordination with your existing Broadleaf agreements. Speak with your Broadleaf contact for arrangements specific to your situation.
